Account & Data Deletion
How to delete your account and request removal of personal information.
Effective October 14, 2026
Delete in the app or dashboard
In the Unison app, open Settings, then Account & Security, and choose Delete Account. Read the warning, continue, then slide to confirm. On the venue dashboard, select your profile, choose Delete account, and complete the two confirmation steps. You do not need to contact support to start account deletion.
Deletion permanently removes your sign-in, profile photo, contact and emergency-contact details, memberships, personal notification settings, and access to every venue. The app signs you out after the server confirms deletion. If the request fails, your account is not treated as deleted; retry or contact support.
Deleting a Unison account does not delete your Apple or Google account. For Apple-linked accounts, Unison also revokes its Apple sign-in authorization. An encrypted authorization token may remain in a retry queue until Apple confirms the revocation; it is then removed.
What happens to shared records
Content attributable to the deleted account is removed or redacted, including authored notes, announcements, receipt images, task response content, and uploaded files. A record of operational actions may remain without your identity as “Former member.” This can affect information other members previously shared with you.
Information another person independently entered may not be identifiable as yours automatically. For example, a colleague could mention you in a document. To request review of that information, contact us with the venue name and a description of where it appears. We will verify your request and work with the venue where needed. A venue’s preference to keep a record does not, by itself, establish a legal exception to deletion.
File removal is processed through a retrying cleanup service after files are removed from normal access. Provider backups and security logs expire on the providers’ retention schedules rather than instantly. Billing records, specific records required by law, and information needed for an actual dispute or security investigation may be retained for those limited purposes. We will explain an applicable exception when responding to a verified request.
If you own a venue
Transfer ownership in the venue dashboard before deleting your account if the venue should remain in use. Deleting an owner account without transferring ownership closes access to the owned venue and starts billing cleanup. Account deletion does not automatically erase every record created by other venue members.
To remove the entire venue, the owner can use Delete Venue in the dashboard’s venue settings. This initiates removal of the venue’s records and files and cancellation of its subscription. Deleting a member account does not delete the venue or cancel its subscription.
Request help without the app
Email unison-support@tremiva.com with the subject “Unison data request.” Include the sign-in email or email used on a public form, the venue name, and whether you want to delete an account, correct a record, obtain a copy, or remove specific information. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, or identity documents unless we arrange a secure verification method with you.
We will verify your identity and authority before releasing or deleting information. We respond within the time required by applicable law and will explain if more information, additional time, or a limited retention exception applies. You can contact us even if you no longer belong to a venue or cannot sign in.
